Help is continuing being sent to Pakistan that was hit with flood. The NT Stores cancelled its traditional İftar suppers this year, and the budget set aside in the amount of 25 thousand TL was donated via Kimse Yok Mu to aid the Pakistani flood victims.  The money that was trusted in the hands of the Kimse Yok Mu  managers will be used to set İftar tables in Pakistan.

At the press conference held at the NT Stores Headquarters, a symbolic check to be used for the İftar tents in Pakistan was handed over to the ‘Is Anybody There’ Association managers. Delivering a speech at the conference, the NT Corporate Communications Manager Mr. Arif Özel said that Pakistan and Turkey have a brotherhood that goes back to many years, and added: ‘Today is the day to show loyalty to our brothers.’
Stating that what has happened in Pakistan is devastating, Mr. Özel said: ‘In order to heal some of the wounds caused by the flood disaster, we, the NT Stores, made a decision to cancel our annual İftar suppers, and instead give the budgeted money to ‘Is Anybody There’ as a check, to be delivered to Pakistan through the Association.

Informing that the flood victims made their Sahur with plain water, and did not have anything to eat for İftar, Mr. Özer said that the aids will continuo. ‘With our 110 Stores and close to a thousand colleagues, we are working on making the aid prevalent. We will support the Kimse Yok Mu by distributing the brochures that we had collaboratively prepared by handing them to the customers coming in to our stores so that they can be well informed’ he said.

The Deputy Chairman of  Kimse Yok Mu  Association Mr. Metin Çetiner said that the Turkish public has to be more sensitive on helping their Pakistani brothers.

‘To relieve their grievances, the NT Stores are sending aid packages to our Pakistani brothers’ Mr. Çetiner continued: ‘The NT Stores cancelled the İftar suppers that were planned to be held in the month of Ramadan with their colleagues, business partners and friends, and instead help Pakistan.’

After the speeches, the symbolic check in the amount of 25 thousand TL was give to the Deputy Chairman of Kimse Yok Mu  Association Mr. Metin Çetiner by NT Corporate Communications Manager Mr. Arif Özel.
